Pflueger President Reel
This is my favorite reel choice for casting and one pole fishing. It is silky smooth and reliable. It is very light and won't ear you out on those long days of fishing. I have paired mine with a 12 ft. B'n'M ultra light, 12 ft. B'n'M Sams Super Sensitive and 6 ft. ACC Crappie Stix. It delivers when you need it the most!
Shimano IX Spinning Reel - IX1000RC
The Shimano IX1000RC is my choice when using slip bobbers or tightlining . It is very durable, reliable and performs well when you need it. The drag is on the back of the reel which allows the adjustment to be fine tuned in the middle of the fight. I often fish in areas where stripers often attack my bait and the reel has the power and smooth drag system to wear them down. I have this reel paired with B'n'M 12 ft, Shakepeare Durange 6ft. and Basss Pro Crappie Maxx 14 ft. rods. It is one of the toughest reels you can buy for the money. It's low price point makes this reel a must in my arsenal.
B n M 12ft Jig Rod
The B'n'M 12 footer is my rod of choice when tight lining and sometimes slip bobber fishing. It is light and very durable with just the right amount of backbone to lift slabs out of the water. It is one of my favorites for spider rigging. Super tough, it has never let me down. I also use it for long lining when I want to get the bait out a little bit further from the boat.
Slip Bobber Line Stops
I prefer to use line bobber stoppers with the red rubber core. Once wet they are easy to slide and remain tight on the line. The stoppers also include a red bead to ensure the rubber stopper functions properly.
Yo_Zuri Fishing (6,8 & 10lb. test) Line
Yo-Zuri line is spooled on all my casting reels. For ultralight casting I use 4lb. test line. This line is superstrong and virtually invisible under water. Great line for casting, long lining and tight lining.
Rod Bob's Floats
Mr. Crappie Wally Marshall Black Nickel
These foam bobbers are light weight and highly visible which makes them my top choice for bluegill and shell cracker fishing. They are also fitted with a hole in the top to insert a glow stick for enhanced night fishing.
These are the hooks I use for crappie fishing . sharp, strong and effective.
B'n'M Ultra Light 12ft. Crappie Jig Pole
This is absolutely one of my top 2 rods for one pole minnow and jig fishing. It is light yet tough. Subtle enough to not rip lips and cause the loss of fish. The lightweight allows you to fish from sun up to sun down without fatigue. It is also extra sensitive to help detect
B'n'M Original BreamBuster 14ft. Crappie Pole
This is my favorite telescoping pole for my wife, children or when fishing in confined space like rivers, creeks etc. My wife loves this little gem. It is light weight and tough as nails. The original bream buster!
B'n'M Black Widow 16.5 ft. Crappie Pole
This is my favorite telescoping pole. It has a black shiny finish and performs well. It is surprisingly light for a 16 1/2 ft. pole. I like to rig it with a swivel and leader to make line break offs easier to manage. It looks good, feels good and performs well under pressure.
Crappie Maxx Tightlines Rod
This is my favorite tight line rod for fishing needs greater than 12 ft. It is tough and performs well for spider rigging or one pole jigging.
Humminbird Helix 10 Mega Si & Di
Garmin GPSMap 1242 xsv
The Helix 10 is a a great sonar unit with tons of features. This is my go to graph at my console for locating schools of crappie and bream beds using side scan or down imaging.
This is the side scan and down imaging version of my livescope system. I use the Garmin 1222 on my front deck for crisp and clear views of what is under the water. A must have for chasing crappie!
Rod-N-Bobb's LuckyJack Lighted Bobber - Red Light '
This is my favorite bobber for night time fishing. I love to see the bright red led light disappear under the water at night.
